Description

The set includes four mugs in matching pairs. The mugs in the North range hold 33 cl and have been designed so that the curve of the mugs and the round handles form the recognisable shape of the ‘O’ in the name and logo. The reactive glaze forms beautiful patterns reminiscent of structures in living nature. The glazing technique is based on traditional glassmaking, and in this process, unpredictable patterns and different shades on the surface are created.

The matte white base colour is combined here with the beautiful green colour, Moss – here in the glossy version. Two of the four mugs have the green glaze on the outside, while the other two have the glossy Moss on the inside. Green is the colour of nature, signalling freshness, hope and development. As we say here in Denmark, green is good for the eyes, which is why green shades are popular in interior design. We associate the colour with the tranquillity found in a forest, or by looking out over a large green field. Pair Moss together with light beige, with brown and other colours found in nature, and combine with teak furniture and other wood with golden tones.
